Did you just 'know' you were pregnant?

I quit the pill too. And not even two weeks later I just felt I was pregnant. Did about five or six tests. The all showed me a negative except the last one, which I took like two days after AF was supposed to come. Now after my first u/s I know I was pregnant last month when I really felt pregnant, but wasn't according to the tests I took! :D

I just knew our two attempts had been successful and the agonising wait between my fertile time and when my period was due was full of expectation. I spotted a little on days 23, 24, 25 and 28, which raised my hopes as I never spotted normally so I started wondering if it was implantation spotting. I did a pregnancy test on day 26, which was positive but I told my husband before I did it that it would be positive. I just felt totally different.

Finding out so very early was initially great but now I'm 6 weeks, 3 days pregnant and it feels like I've been preggers for ages, but all the medical folks keep saying "of course you're still so very early"! From speaking to other women (I work in HR so in a privileged position!) few know they are pregnant like I did. Everyone's different!

First pregnancy - I had symptoms in the 2ww that I never had before, so I was very hopeful, but didn't know. Second time, the symptoms were day for day exactly the same as my first pregnancy, so I did "just know", but at the same time, never had a great feeling about it. Unfortunately that ended in mc . This time, again the symptoms were the same, day for day in the 2ww and again I just knew I was pregnant (I felt a lot more positive about it than last time too) - was even confident enough to test early (cd23), and got our BFP straight away.

Looking back I knew but I was still shocked to see the BFP

Hi Trix,

All the women in my family are extremely fertile too, but it took 6 years for me to get pregnant!
I had no idea that I was pregnant, we'd actually given up with charting and fertility testing a couple of months earlier and I was 10 days late before I even took a test. But we had just buried my DH's father 5 days before BFP, so I don't know whether the stress at the time would've blocked any 'psychic' feelings.

I hope you get your BFP soon though Trix :)
