Did you make the right pram choice?

i began to regret my choice of the graco quattro deluxe in cosmo before i even had it out. however i was reassured by people stopping and asking about it! i dont think u can buy it anymore. but the thing is so heavy i dont try to get it up the stair,i leave oh to bring it up. and i could not dare fold it on a bus. perhaps theres something that could have been better, it annoys me

My oh nan bought us a cheap pram from mothercare, i no i shud b grateful but i hate it! its the Chicco Multiway Stroller . After the train incident on the news i was like right i hope the brakes r good as b4 i neva used them and yeah there shit! I wanted one where the baba faces you when there newborn but nope! x

We got the Chicco Trio 4 Me Autofix at first, and I did (and still do) love aspects of it. But, like AG and her Cabi, there were niggles. But the main thing that made us change it was me suddenly deciding that yes, I did actually want to take Romilly for walks around our local country park  The Chicco is good, but it's definitely a "city" pram ;) I loved how easily it folded/unfolded, and how small it went (umbrella fold, it was incredible!). The carrycot had an adjustable base allowing us to raise the back up, which was great for when Romilly was having windy issues.

Gosh, I sound like I'm selling the darned thing  Well, I will be, once I get around to taking pictures

Anyways, we now have the Quinny Buzz 3 in Greystone (purple!), and LOVE it! (The irony of the OP having this one and hating it is not lost on me ) We're getting the all-terrain front wheel, but even without it, it's just so much better for the bumpy country park paths :)

YEEEEESSSSS
lol i looove love love my icandy cherry, cant fault it, its so light and easy to push, looks good, my little girl loves it, my only fault is that they brought a purple version out AFTER i had my little girl lol x

we have the maxi cosi mura 3 and i LOVE it... its perfect for us, and i havent had any issues with it after 4 months use! shes been thru the carrycot, and the car seat on the chassis, and now shes into the big seat which is SO comfy, she loves it, she can face either way, adjustable height is fab for us as we are both tall... love the solid feel to it, and how easily it folds, and clips together etc.. my ONLY one complaint, and im only making it cos i have to find SOMETHING id change.. is that the shopping bsket isnt that big.. bigger than the quinny mind!! but its no big deal as i just bought a bag hook and we are good to go!

i have the loola up and i cant fault it. its a little heavy but i like that as it feels sturdy.

I've got the Quinny Buzz 4 - and love it. We were torn between the Buzz and Bugaboo Cameleon. Luckily had friends who let us 'test drive' both. I found the Cam too bulky for me - and loved the easy 'up and down' of the Buzz.

Love it.

I started with a silvercross 3d which was ok but when he outgrew the pram mode i didnt want him facing outward so ive got a quinny buzz 3 which i love

for my new baby i got the loola up, nice pram but tooooo heavy, it weighs a ton! so i got a bugaboo cameleon and i love it! although im already thinkin about when i can sell that and get the bee when the weathers warmer and the babas bigger

my 3 year old had 8 prams, a buzz, pliko, pliko lite, and a few others and never found the perfect pram! although i would say the pliko lite is the best buggy ive ever had! id get another one but they dont rear face...

i have the silvercross sleepover on linear chassis and i love it. Lo can lie flat and looks so comfortable. It is really bulky, but i don't use buses and have car seat to clip onto frame if we are away for the day x

i have the silver cross 3d pram system, and to be honest i have hardly used it, only the car seat. It does fit in the boot but there is nowt else room for anything else lol shopping all goes on the floor at the back or packed in around the pram. I feel like i have wasted 300 quid on the pram and should of just bought another car seat and not because it was the one that matched. there were loads more prams out there cheaper that i should of considered but as always i saw it and wanted it. I am sure when the weather picks up i will use it more, however not use how much longer he will fit into the 'liner' as he is almost the width of it already so might just need to convert it to the pram.

i have the pliko p3 and loved it at the start, but found the car seat was 2 heavy 4 me 2 carry even without baby in it, and its quite heavy 2 push and had quite a few problems with it so i now hav an obaby stroller which is light and easy

First ever pram that i bought was Bugaboo Cameleon and it was perfect in every way!

For twins i bought Icandy Pear and sold it after 2-3 months, and got a Jane Powertwin,so i got it right once :)

Now we have Bugaboo Bee for when i take just one with me,and Jane for twins, and i'm more then happy with my choice!

we had a britax visio first and no, t was not the right choice, its far too small, and the pram bit was really hard and his head was lower than his feet! the only bit i liked was being able to clip the car seat on, and even then the frame used to get jammed when folding it or unfolding it. All that said i am now starting to use it a bit more now as a pushchair but it won't last long as he is nearly too big for it so will be selling it soon and getting a cheap stroller.

We also have a Maxi cosi Mura 3 which i LOVE its great really chunky wheels that will go anywhere, faces both ways and seat looks really comfy! just wish our car sear fitted it but no biggy anyway as have switched to a "big seat" in car now anyway. it is a bit bulky but i still love it! only thing i would change is that i would have got it in another colour i liked the black or the red but it would have cost us £70 more and couldn't really justify that! but would definatly reccomend it!

But we

We have the silver cross 3d and so far it is working out well for us

I have to confess we've only been out with it once though so maybe it's a case of when we've used it more we'll notice more things about it that annoy us?!

The things i like about it are- the carrycot mode for newborns, Toby is only tiny still and he looks really safe and snug lying in it :cloud9: and the fact it feels quite sturdy and not like it's going to blow over in the bad weather!

I do find it a bit faffy still at the minute though but probably just need a bit more practice.

We have the silver cross linear sleepover, I love aspects of it and others I can't stand..

Amelia is now over 7 months old and even though she is a long long baby she can still fit in it in the carrycot mode.

It is so snuggly and warm and I love that it is parent facing, I wouldn't have it any other way.

..

My issues are though, the car seat is SO heavy! Getting LO in and out of the car now is a bit of a struggle (I am also a bit of a weakling haha)

The side of the bar handle is starting to crack and if it does then we will need to buy a new pushchair as the handle will be un-useable!

It can be somewhat difficult to get shopping in and out of the basket!

..

It is a fantastic pram though

xXx

No, i bought a Herbie, big bag of shite!!!!!!!

The design was dumb, carrycot was too big for the chassis, nowhere to put bag, to switch from carrycot to pushchair took me 40 mins, parosol broke, materials faded.

I have a Zia and i love it.

V xxxxx

We got a mamas and papas pliko prammette for our first, it was fine as an about town pushchair but as we live in the country Ollie was getting shaken about like a goodun, and then when he got nosey he hated being in the lie flat mode. It didn't parent face so we bought a maxi cosi mura 3 and i absolutly love it. If only they did a double version, i did think about buying another one and getting a friend of ours to fabricate something to make it a double. I don't have any faults with it, and its great when we go for long walks cross country. I paid £120 brand new from ebay and it was well worth that money! Now i'm expecting again i'm going with the phil and teds and i feel so sad that Ollie won't be parent facing anymore, i'm going to miss chatting to him and his random giggles when he sees something funny. Also another thing about the mura is since march I've only seen 2 others and they've only been in the last month!

I have an I-Candy Apple, bought the 4-wheel model and the additional single front wheel so we can switch between 3 and 4 wheels.

I haven't yet found a single fault with it, it's really easy to fold and the wheels come off easily to fit it into a small boot and I find it really easy to switch between the car seat/ cot/ pushchair parts and we got a few of the 'flavours' so we cna switch colours easily too! It also has the best height adjustable handle of any currently on sale in the UK (hubbie is 6ft 6 so we needed that) and it's so easy to manouver - in 3 wheel mode it can turn around on the spot.

The basket is really big too and easily accessible whichever top part you have on.

It is not the lightest pram on the market but it is nowhere near the heaviest either and I found it much sturdier feeling than the Quinny/ Bugaboo while still looking stylish and modern. I also go out with my NCT mums and babies on a walk every week and have been the only person who doesn't struggle with cattle grids, big kerbs, grass and mud.

The only thing that I think might put people off is the width of the rear wheelbase - it looks really wide but the only place I've struggled with it is in my local paper shop which is the size of a postage stamp so we don't fit down some of the aisles - but as it can turn around so easily it doesn't bother me.

Also it doesn't come with a velcro safety wrist strap which annoys me as I can't find any to buy on the internet! grrrr.
