Did you try clary sage oil?

Did it work?
How long after you started did it work?

How did you use it? (Bath etc)

I used it with both of mypregnancies. With my 1st it didn't doanything for me, nothing did (I had DS at 42 weeks after being induced). With my 2nd it definitely did something! I'd put a few drops in the bath and some on a cloth to smell while I was in the bath. I started using it at 39 weeks I think and every time I used it I'd get contractions. I used it while I was in labour and almost as soon as I started using it (I rubbed it on my bump and back in a carrier oil and had it on a cloth to smell) my conractions got stronger and more frequent.

I'd not long got out of a bath with clary sage oil in it when my waters went - take from that what you will!

I had some in the bath and I went from 4cm to 10cm in 2 hours!

I used some on my bump and in a bath, it caused strong BH and I went into labour about 12 hours later

I tried it quite often since I was in prodromal labour. It seemed to strengthen contractions, but it did NOT start labour. I took baths with it every day, kept a cloth with it on with me, and even slept with some on my pillow. However, I will say that it helped me during labour to stay calm and cope, but it definitely didn't start anything.

I used it in the bath, the bubble bath i bought had it in lol I poured a quarter of the bottle in :haha: I went into labour early next morning :) could have been pure coincidence :flower:

I've been using it for the past week (desperate to get baby out naturally before induction tmo!), pouring it in my bath, rubbing on bump, smelling it etc and nothing - not even one braxton hicks!

Some women respond better to Jasmine Oil or even Lavender Oil

I have been trying clary sage oil now for th past couple of days in my bath but I have had nothing. Do you think burning it would work? Xxx

with my DD i was 4 days overdue. Tried Clary Sage oil in the bath and within 45 mins my waters broke whilst I was still in the bath.
