didn't get my sweep today :'(

got to the MW appointment, and his head is still free, so she couldn't give me a sweep.

i'm so down about it. i feel like my body is a failure.
i know i'm gna end up having to get induced

try not to feel down hun, ive heard loads of women who dont engage right up until labour.

your body is not a faliure, your babys just obviously very comfy where he is
did they give you a follow up appointment for another sweep if he doesnt make his apperance?

I'm the same way. I feel like my body is a huge failure. My cervix sucks and hasn't done anything. I'm getting induced in 2 days and I'm so upset that my body didn't go into natural labor.

Some people don't engage until the last minute, got my fingers crossed for you that you won't need to be induced or have a sweep!

yeah, i've to go again a week today. she said if his head is engaged, she will give me a sweep then. she will give me a date for induction that day too.

i don't know why, i just can't stop crying

I was induced and the thought made me cry too but it's fine and not as bad as alot of people make out so don't worry if you do have to be induced I'm sure it won't come to that xx

oww hun it doesn't mean your body is a failiure at all ...it just means your body is super comfy!!

i was induced and sometimes it's the best thing any way, just remember, as long as your bubba's here safely deep down, it doesn't matter when he gets here!! you just want him to be okayy!!

loads of women don't go overdue with their first baby, and your LO is obviously just too comfy in there it won't be long now xx

so sorry hun, getting induced really isnt all that bad i was induced at 42+1 with my ds,yes people say it hurts more to be induced but unless you have already had a natural labour you have nothing to compare the pain to. Big hugs to you hun x x
