My mother-in-law was pregnant for five months she continued to have her period. Because i will be carrying a baby with my husbands and hers genes what are he chances that I will not know if I am pregnant?
What happened to her has absolutely nothing to do with genetics. You would never be affected by your fetus's genetics except in the case of an Rh positive baby with a Rh negative mother.
When women bleed during pregnancy, it is not a period. Some women, in the early months, have a little decidual bleeding caused by hormonal changes which can be mistaken for a period, but it is not a period.
