Hi all

Have been using Aptamil ready made cartons for the last 6 weeks since not being able to Breastfeed. Wondered if anyone knew how much cheaper it is per week or per month to move on to Aptamil powder. My little monkey is taking about 35 oz per day. Does anyone know how many oz you get in an £8.99 box of powder and then I can work it out?

Thanks!

Kat

Hi Kat,

Bella takes about 30oz a day & a carton of powder lasts 6 days (so about 180oz). So in 6 days, I spend about £8.50 on powder. I worked out I'd be getting through about 5 cartons of ready made a day (about £2.60 a day), so I'd be spending £15.60 on ready made in 6 days.

xx

1 scoop = 4.5g according to my tub of aptamil (900g) so there's about 200 scoops/200oz (if my maths is correct that is lol)

powdered formula works out at 4p per oz, cartons are 9p per oz approx
