Digital Photo frames?

I was just wondering if any of you ladies have one or anything? I was thinking of buying my Mum one has she tons of photos, never has anywhere to put them or forgets to get them printed so I thought this would be perfect.
I'm just wondering if they are actually any good though or if they're just a bit gimmicky?

I have one in my kitchen mainly because the kids don't go in there to fiddle with it. I love mine and my grandma also has one and its one 24/7 x
