How often should i be getting a dirty nappy from my newborn? DS2 is 4 days old and has been formula fed from the beginning. The first 2 days we had several dirty nappies and then yesterday morning we had one but I haven't had one since. He's been drinking 2-3oz every 3-4 hours and we've had plenty of wet nappies! I know that formula fed babies can struggle to digest milk as easily and can get a bit constipated so might have less dirty nappies than breastfed. When do I start to worry?

That makes a lot of sense. After I posted we ended up with three dirty nappies so things are moving along, albeit quite slowly. At least he's reset the poop clock :haha: so I don't have to worry too much for another day or two at least! It's DH that worries about things like this and then passes that worry on to me and has me doing all the research.
