So I eventually got my partner to agree to having another baby back in March. We already have a little boy who will be turning 5 in July. After all the pursuading it took I fell pregnant straight away in March, couldn't believe how fast it happened but I sadly miscarried at the beginning of April I was devastated, still am but learning to deal with it. It was a natural miscarriage so I'm wanting to know how long it took people to conceive again after a miscarriage? People had told me your more fertile after a miscarriage but we tried again last month & I was showing all positive signs of been pregnant again but then af showed her ugly face I'm seeing so many friends having babies & falling pregnant & im just sat here disappointed that it hasn't happened for me yet I know we haven't been trying long but when you've wanted is so bad for years it's just devastating. Fingers crossed this is my month.

I'm so sorry for your loss. When we were trying for #2, I miscarried in December of 2013, AF showed in January 2014, and I got my BFP in February. He's currently fighting with his big brother over a spoon lol.

I know it is devastating, and I'm so sorry. Big hugs--I hope it happens for you soon!!!

It took me 5 months, 5 months exactly from first bleed with a natural MC to getting my BFP.

I think unfortunately after a loss, you tend to see every symptom as one of pregnancy, I know I'd did. Every month I was convinced.

I'm sorry, I truly am. I don't think it's something you ever really get over.

I think we all know how that feels!! Your time will come! We got pregnant pretty quickly as well (would of been our first). I'm hoping it doesn't take to long this time either but time will tell. You have to stay positive, there's a plan for you and it will happen soon!!

In my experience the time it takes can vary. Between my first and second loss it only took us 3 cycles. Between my second and third loss it took us 8 cycles (9 months after MC), which felt like forever, which in turn loosing that baby too was so heart wrenching as we felt like it took all of our efforts to conceive again.
It is now our 4th cycle trying since our last loss. Just hoping it will happen at some point this year.

Thank yous for all your kind words just logged back on here and seem them all, cheered me up a little well I've had a weird cycle this month, yet again thought I was pregnant showing all good signs even my period was 4 days late but nope felt a little bummed but am rearing to go this month! Going to try not think about it as much, i think the more I think about it the more I think I am pregnant then I'm left even more devastated when af turns up. Got my little boys birthday coming up end of the month so hopefully that will keep my mind off things and keep me busy. Just wish things didn't take so long.. Like having to wait to ovulate then the dreaded tww ahhhh wish a could just fast forward time! So sorry for all your losses too. Our time will come when we least expect it it's nice to have a group on here about trying again after mc, with people who have had the same happen. I know when I talk to my friends I just feel like they don't really understand what I'm going through so it's hard. I feel most the time they try to avoid the conversation when sometimes all I really need is a talk and a good cry. Partner seems to be dealing with it fine & I don't get that at all but then again men deal with there emotions a completely different way to us women lol. But here's to another month off ttc baby dust to you all�� and thanks again really appreciate it x

Awww sorry I figured it out in the app I'm using to track everything lol. I'm on cd9 .. Been trying since April after miscarriage. Not sure if i have a yeast infection or something similar to that.. Has anyone ever had anything like this? I kept getting diagnosed with UTIs after my miscarriage but turns out all this time it hasn't been a UTI doc said it could be a number of things but didn't go back to the doctors because all my symptoms and pains had gone. But since having sex with my partner on Saturday I've got a slight itch, burning feeling & a lot of creamy discharge. And before anyone says it I know we don't have stis. Whatever it is it seems to be lingering around since the miscarriage and I'm wondering if this could be the thing that's stopping me from getting pregnant? I'm scared to go back to the docs about it cos I feel as if they just fob me off and don't diagnose me properly. I wasn't experiencing this he previous months but was getting a funny sensation when I peed which made me believe it was a UTI. And last month was suffering from a lot of pain but it went away. Haven't had pain since. I'm confused and worried and upset about it all..

Ohhhh I soooo know how your feeling 😔 it's devastating & makes you want one all the more after miscarrying. It's so sad that us women have to go through things like this. I really feel for you. Do you already have children? I feel lucky in a way that i already have a little boy but still doesn't stop me from wanting more. But I know our time will come, we have to be patient a little while longer. We'll get our rainbow babies 😘

**update** so after getting the creamy discharge yesterday and day before I now have a clear very stretchy unbreakable discharge!! I'm ovulating!!! After a crazy cycle last month looks like I'm having an even crazier one! I'm only on cd10.. Wondering if I still ovulate the same time every month even after my period been late. Burning and itching has disappeared thank god!
