Discharge & sweet smelling

Since loosing that large blob of mucus on Tuesday i have been having a sweet smelling discharge rather like cake mixture only way i can explain lol
Is it normal to smell sweet???? I mean its got to be better then the opposite and smell foul but every things a worry xx

Hm, is it watery? I know when your water breaks/leaks it smells sweet.

Personally, I would call my mw/doctor and see what they say just because I know my own doctor told me that your waters will smell sweet. Better safe than sorry

Sweet discharge, urine, or breathe can indicate elevated blood sugars. Are you at risk for GD?

My midwife described waters as sweet smelling or even smelling like newborn babies might be worth ringing your midwife for some advice??

Thanks girls...Thing is the discharge is thick ish like ermmm..................Milk lol
But not thin like water's x

I'm having this too though I haven't lost my plugg

I can't decide if or not i should be worried... I just had my GD test, i don't think i'm a high candidate though i guess you never know... If it turns up will they call sooner than my next appt. ? If so.. how long you think??

Oh who knows hun. My pad in the last week or so is now covered in a thickish white/yellowy discharge. It smells sweet, yet I can also smell amonia and urine (yes I accidentally wee myself ). It's so confusing

Sometimes my discharge smell sweet, I can smell it when I use the bathroom sometimes- same with during my 2nd pregnancy and all was fine. I think you would be having very watery discharge. My waters were leaking with my 1st pregnancy and it was just liquid(I tried smelling it too but it just smelled different but not necessarily sweet). Also, you dont have to have pains if your water is leaking. I went 8 days not knowing with my 1st and was only checked because it seemed to be a bit excessive in the watery department. I do think you are fine though. But just bring it up next time you go in or if you do start to have any other symptoms or watery discharge

Yes that's how it is with me when my waters leak xx I would often feel it 'sliding' out too
