Who has tried them and did you notice any difference??

I have one for Hayden and the difference for him has been huge! We got it after he had 4 teeth, we got it right around the time he turned one, next time I'll buy one much earlier. But before he would get super fussy, have a bit of a fever, in obvious pain, barely slept the nights before they broke through. After we got it we seriously didn't know he was getting teeth in until we saw them in his mouth! It has helped him so much, no more fussing, fever, nothing..the only thing he still does is sometimes chews on his finger or something, like right now he's working on his 2yr molars and he'll chew on his finger back there, but that's it.

honestly it made no difference to us. I wish it did though!

why is amber different than other beads? (thinking of getting some)

Supposedly when they warm against the skin, they release tiny amounts of soothing chemicals that help with teething symptoms. As a scientist, I am always skeptical about stuff like that  but am willing to try if enough ppl swear by it! haha!

My baby boy has one and we didnt know he was teething either , he now has 7 teeth , he always slept through the night was never cranky and never had a fever at all , didnt even know he was teething untill we seen his teeth . I believe they really do work.

We have taken Caidan's off him, he appeared to be worse with it on! He was really restless and out of sorts and it coincided with us putting it on him. Since we have taken it off him, he still is having a terrible time teething but he isnt as out of sorts as he was. Now, it could just be that he was uncomfortable with it on, I dont know, but I definitely notice a difference for the better now he no longer wears it.

That said, I know many mums swear by it so I guess you just have to try it and see.

Doesn't seem to work for us. I was really hoping...and in the beginning I thought it was better....seemed like he drooled a bit less, but he was as cranky as ever when he got his second tooth.

Oops - I have seen these mentioned before and I thought they were something to chew on while teething!
My grandmother used a rheumatism magnetic bracelet and swore by it - and she was very cynical about anything "alternative". I guess it is a similar idea....
