Do any of you own a motor home?

Me and OH are considering getting a motor home as we go to Butlins at least 4 times a year, we thought about getting a static caravan but to have one at Butlins is very expensive with the ground rent etc, so we thought about a motor home then we could up and go every weekend somewhere different if we wanted.

Has anyone got any experience with them and would you recommend it?

Don't have a motorbike but had a touring cats an growing up. Id recommend them over a motorbike as you can unhook. With a motorbike if you go out and about whilst on hols you have to obviously go in it which can be hassle, they are also sore on fuel. Unless you plan to take a car too. X x

We do! Well its a converted van. But its down as a motorhome on the log book.

But its the best thing we ever did. We go to loads of different places on weekends. Camp sites, holiday parks, steam rallies, motorhome shows etc.

A week ago we came back from 18 nights in it.

Its so much better than a tourer. Its also our only vehicle.
