If you get a evap line straight away do they/can they turn faint pink when dry?

Before anyone says it...I know not to read after the time limit, I know I tested early and I know I need to wait a few days. I just wondered if anyone could answer this question.

I did a test at 4am this morning at 9pdo and waited the full 10 minutes and then went back to bed, so the test was left in the bathroom simply because I needed to pee and though I better test with my fmu. I got sort of got a 'line' straight away. I could see where the line should be, I could see a super faint line by tipping it about to face the light. But I have had evaps on these ICs before when not pregnant and although I think the line was a little more clear than an evap I am not sure. With DS I had some a couple where I could see something like that the days before it became a faint positive. However I just do not know if it was an evap or the start of a faint positive. I have could not tell if there was no dye or if it was faint pink. Then when I got up the dried line was faint pink. So if it was an evap, is it normal to turn pink?

Also do evaporation lines appear instantly? When I have seen them before they have taken 1-2 minutes not as the dye goes across.

I am waiting 2-3 days and testing again. I know no one can tell me if it was a BFN of faint positive. I am just curious about the answer because while it may be an evap that showed straight away it may also be like the ones I had with DS to start with.

i wouldn't trust it. google "BFP after time limit"

It would not have shown up on my camera phone.

I am not classing it as a positive at all, just unsure if it is an evap and thus a BFN or the same sort of early faint line I had with DS. If there was no line to start with I would not have thought anything of it but one came up as soon as the dye moved across and I was not sure at the time if it had pink in it or not.

Best way to see is to test again in the morning. Good luck. FX that this is your :bfp: and not a super nasty evap!! :dust: :dust: :dust:

Oh and oops, I forgot I had an evap dry blue once. Clear line in the light then the next day a nice (very thin) blue line. Nasty things they are.

hiya omiomen
i have never had an evap turn pink an evap clearly turns white or grey from my experience and ive had 7 kidz i carnt guarantee im 100% right ive done test after test this week and tbh ive had faint lines all week some have stayed pink but my evap ones have deffo gone grey and white good luck xx

I tested again last night and this morning and got pretty much the same thing. Both times a line showed up right away but was very light and I was not 100% sure if it was pink or not. They were darker than at 9dpo but my camera phone did not really pick them up. Once again they both dried pink somewhere between 10-30 minutes....once again I know not to read after 10 minutes I just wish I knew if evaps did that to help me understand the instant lines.

These two were AFTER it had dried (one a few hours after and one about 20-30 minutes after).

They do to me too but it took a bit after the development time to be that clear and obviously pink. I'll have to test again in 2 days I guess and hope it is darker in the time limit.
