I have my first sub-fertility apt today, I think I asked the appointment dept. if I can not bring him and they said it was ok, but then I read on here someone said they had to or something?.. The problem is with me as I ave PCOS, we've already had his sperm tested and was fine.. do I have to bring evidence of this? like printed results or anything? cause I don't have em! lol

Any ideas what I can expect? Will they have to do an internal exam? I hope not :( lol

I wouldnt think you would *have* to. If they needed the results of the SA though, they could have you sign a medical release to send for the records. Good luck at your appointment!

Thanks Hun :) I didn't think I would, until I read something on here! lol x

np hun! especially if they said something to the effect of you dont have to already. Besides that I would typically just expect bloods, but they may do an exam to check position of uterus and condition of cervix. Not sure really. If you were paying out of pocket I'd be inclined to suggest they'd do one or the other first to get more money from you on a separate visit, but thats just my opinion :haha:

I had an internal scan during my first appointment. DH came with me, as he is involed in the whole process, but he didn't "have" to be there. I took print outs of his SA with me to give the FS.

How did it go?
