Do MAM teats fit any other bottles?

We currently use MAM anti colic bottles (ultravent??) which I really like and more importantly LO really likes. LO seems not to have any problem with wind anymore and we are going away for a week in a few weeks, then going back to work. I am thinking about switching to a bottle with less bits to clean and sterilise to make life simpler. I could get the MAM normal ones but that would mean a special trip to town and is it really wort it? are all normal (not anti colic bottles) the same if so surely I could just buy tesco or boots wide neck ones or avent which are always on offer and just use the mam teats as she is used to them and it will save me buying all new stage 3 teats as we have only just started using the MAM ones.

Anyone done this?

HI there, unfortunately I don't have any experience with MAM bottles. But usually anti colic bottles teats and screw tops are bit different (TT ones don't have vents in them Avent ones have a extra ringy bit to let the air out) so it would be tricky to change over. I guess you could just do some "window shopping" with your bottle and check if there would be anything that fits.
We are using Avent anti colic bottles at the moment I(they are on sale that's how I tried them and they are really good) Sorry that I cannot be more of a help. Good luck tho!

are the anti colic ones the ones with the bottom that unscrews? i have loads of diff bottles and the teats are all mixed up they all fit all the bottles, xx

yep they do fit different bottles as the anti colic valve is on the bottom rather than the top

I use Avent anti colic teats and they fit the Tesco wide necked bottles with no problems. Been using them for months

I use MAM teats with Avent bottles, as I like the shape of the Avent and they fit in the bottle section of my bag properly.

yeah you could hun all the mam teats are standard, i have mam bottles but the 'normal' 3 peice ones and they'd fit in my tesco wide neck bottles (just checked for you!) & the teats are expensive! i'd hate for you too loose them all ! xx

i use MAM teats on all my bottles which are a mix of MAM, Boots, morrisons and tesco ones and so far havent had any problems....LO wont take any other Teat (or dummys either)apart from these so im glad they fit...

(also, if ur looking to buy MAM stuff and dont wanna take the trip you can order direct from there website huni, i do and the stuff comes within 2 days).
