Hey girls, i'm new to this website so appologies if someone has already posted something similar. I have PCOS (polycystic ovarie syndrome) and I am on my 5th cycle of clomid, well 3rd on 100mg, and for the last 2 cycles i've had really good folicols and my nipples have been sooo senstive for about 1-2 weeks before my next period is due, I know I ovulated last month as I got my blood results back, but I was just wondering if you got sore nipples before or after ovulation? It's all so confussing to me!!

Mine are hurting this cycle too....have been since friday cd14...my opks arrived late friday night so when i tested it was almost pos so im hoping i caught the end kf the surge as we bd cd11 and cd14!!

Personally I get them before and during ovulation, never after. Seems like I might be the weirdo in this regard ;)

I think a lot of things can cause itchy nipples and its probably not a good symptom of ovulation to rely on. I, personally, get itchy nipples a lot durring a particularly bad outbreak of PCOS

As soon as I ovulate I get sore sensitive breasts. Not only nipples but the actual breast too. It goes away as soon as I get my period. Very good sign ovulation is occurring. As Gem said it's due to progesterone rise. Very common.

not itchy nipples, Mine feel more like bruised nipples, not sore to wear a bra but when i touch them with my hands they just feel very bruised!!

Pos OPK CD14 and DTD CD12 and CD14 so if sore nipples are a very good sign of ovulation i could be in with a very good chance then?? xxx
