we couldnt convince lyssa to eat last year, and im wondering how important it is really for that one day?
my mum always used to get us some kind of chocolate cereal, which we were never allowed the reat of the year!

so what do you do?

for as long as i can remember ive had bacon sarnies and bucks fizz!

When I lived at home my dad would cook a fry up at about 5am when we got up and then we would have crumpets and muffins about 11 with a glass of bubbly!!

Now I live with DH, last year I cooked muffins with bacon cheese and eggs and will probably do the same this year

It was normally a selection box

I never had bucks fizz before I met my OH now every christmas we get a glass and I love it. Dont tend to have it any other time of the year.

i cant remember tbh, dont think we did when we were little, probably just had selection boxes, i cant remember if i made something for us last year, i can barely remember yesterday but i think we prob just had a bit of a snack once all the pressies were opened and while we were waiting for dinner to cook

im tempted to make bacon sandwiches this year since both of the kids will be able to eat them and i love a good bacon sarnie :p x

mmmmmmmm bacon! lmao i like the sound of that.
S- i love that you had selection boxes!

Bacon sarnies and fizzy orange (everyone else has bubbly) although I have normaly raided the mince pies and mini sausage rolls by the time the sarnies are ready not to mention the piggy wraps mum cooks me in advanced to stop me stealing the ones ment for dinner :)

selection box is by far the best breakfast, i still make paul buy me one hahaha x

Ewww im no lover of mince pies  we dont buy them in this house as nobody likes them but my dad loves them.

Im more of a nut person! :haha:

blueberry pancakes usually but this year i wont have time with LO being born so itll be croissants or something nummy like that.

We always had chocolate and tea, maybe some toast if you were really hungry but for the most part it was just the tin of Roses or Quality Street!! :)

I love mince pies with brandy butter - but not for breakfast. I think this is the last year I will be able to get away with making sure the kids eat before they open the presents and I am definitely having bucks fizz with my bacon and egg muffin.

Next year I may have to resort to a rustlers 'ping' bacon roll as I won't be able to hold the kids back from their santa sacks for more then a minute.

cant beat bucks fizz and snowballs at christmas
