I love the way it sounds but I'm worried it's a bit too unusual or that it would always be associated with Helen mirren or st mirrens football club. I am Scottish but live in Italy so want a Scottish name that is easy to pronounce for Italians. I like unusual names. The middle name would be hope so
Mirren Hope or
Mirryn Hope.
I prefer the second spelling but it would be more difficult for Italians to spell. Dd1 is Alba May.

I adore it! Don't think Hope works as a middle name, but that's just me. I prefer Mirren to Mirryn.

I know a little girl with this name, but hers is spelt Mirrin. I think it's a lovely name!

I love the name. I am also scottish and have named my dog murryn. Please dont think im liking your child to my dog just thought id throw that name in there as it is very like mirren.

I love that name!! Its amazing. It sounds like a classic name, but has an unusual twist that makes it current.

Great Choice! :winkwink:
