Do you read full threads or just reply to OP?

I almost always read the whole thread first, even if it's huge.

There have been a couple times I didn't bother reading the replies before writing my own, I guess because I just felt like I really had to say what I was going to say even if it had already been said or the thread had gone in a totally different direction.

I usually read the entire thread-- unless it's like 70 pages long. At that point, I usually read the first page and the last 3 or so (just to get an idea of what's been said). If I've not read the thread I usually say "I haven't read through all the posts, but..." Sort of a disclaimer.

90% of the time I read the whole thread first. I didn't this time though
