My LO is not even 4 weeks old and I've already packed a bag full of clothes she has outgrown. There is gonna be bags full of clothes in the next few months that she will have outgrown. At first, I thought I would put them in the attic for if I have another baby but as most of it is girl stuff, knowing my luck I would have a boy. Plus styles might have changed by then. So just wondering if any of you sell your stuff and where?

I didn't sell anything until after DS2 had outgrown them, as we decided we are done now, unless we decide to adopt down the road.

I would save your stuff if you plan to have more than one, just in case you have another girl. I haven't found styles to change that much with baby clothes really. You can always sell your things later if it turns out you have a boy instead, or if another girl, sell after she is done with them. And you can always buy some new outfits for another baby, so its not ALL the same stuff your older one wore. Up to you, but that's what I'd do. Clothes are expensive. lol

Stuff I have sold I have listed on Facebook groups I'm on, craigslist, or taken to consignment shops.

No, not yet as if the second baby be a girl I will reuse them. After we are finished having kids I will probably get rid of most of them. We currently have 4 full suitcases of clothes now in storage!

I have kept everything in the attic in case we have another baby. If not then I will just pass them on to family or friends who have babies

At first I gave them away to friends but now I sell them on ebay as im trying to save alot of money to move house. But I kept my favourite things and made a patchwork quilt out of them instead of having em shoved in some cupboard where ill never look at them

My fave things i kept, the cheaper things i gave to the charity shop and good stuff, ie named or hardly worn i sell on ebay. Ive made over £100 i think so far off 1 bin bag of clothes.

I lept some of the tiny cute things but i try to sell most of his clothes on babybay (selling page on facebook for baby things) and at car bott sales cos i dont have room for them and im a snob id like new things when/if i have another baby! :)

I'm keeping all the stuff that's still wearable for baby number 2. If I have a girl she can wear pretty much everything although I'll buy some girly bits as well

I sell all of Isabelle's on fb pages or ebay... I think I've only kept her coming home outfit and the first baby gro she wore in hospital x

We're saving a couple of newborn outfits to give them when they grow up. The rest we have given to family/friends.

I saved everything after my 1st, luckily I had the same gender again.

Now, I'm just giving it all away. There are lots of places (thrift stores, DV shelters) that accept this stuff for needy women.

I sell EVERYTHING on eBay! I've kept her coming home outfit, Christmas Day outfit and flower girl dress from when she was 8 months, and first shoes etc., but everything else has gone (including all other bits - swing, Jumperoo...). I'm not planning on having another but if I did I'd just buy new - I need the money more now to buy new clothes!

I'm keeping everything in case we have a third but if not I'll sell or donate it in a few years. I've bought a lot of stuff from eBay myself.

I've chosen to give it away. People in this area always want something for nothing and I would much rather it went to someone in need of it for free rather than someone whining that it costs to much.

I once did a car boot sale and I was selling £100 unused baby monitors for £5 and I had a woman stand there arguing with me for 20 minutes that £5 was way to much.
I agreed to £4 and she walked off in a strop.

But she did come back and give me the £4 eventually haha!

I would love more children one day, but just dont have the room to store his clothes, even with good old vacuum bags!

I try and sell in Ebay, but never seem to have much luck! I sell big items on Gumtree easy though. The more undesirable clothes i.e. unbranded go to the charity shops.

At the moment i cant put LO in his nursery, he is still in my room, as his nursery is just full of bags and bags full of outgrown baby clothes.

I dont have a Facebook account, but do any of you ladies that do sell, have any tips for success on Ebay?

I've kept a couple of "special outfits" such as what we first put him in when he was born and outfits I loved. Everything else I've put in a big box and sent to a company that send them to under developed countries for babies there who have no clothing. Seemed like a nice thing to do rather than them taking up room in the house

Another good place to get rid of them is ThreadUp. I've sold on there before; its actually more of an exchange type thing. You load up a FedEx box stuffed full of a size, list what's in it, then someone will want that box, so you ship to them. They pay $15, which is the shipping basically. THen you can pick a box of the size you need, and pay the shipping.

The more boxes you ship, the more discounts you get for the shipping price. I think you can get it down to like $5 a box.

We have just been vacuum packing everything and sticking it in the loft. The idea is to pass on some things to the next baby if we have the same gender, keep some special outfits to make into a quilt and donate the rest to charity. I just need to get round to sorting it all out first!
