Do you sell outgrown baby clothes?

I kept all my first sons, lent them all to my SiL when my nephew was born and now my youngest is in them. Some bits I give to a friend who has a little boy 3 months younger but other stuff i sell. We did a car boot at the weekend, and I've done an NcT sale before. Made about £80 just off all the newborn bits, and that's selling at about 50p per item!

I would love more children one day, but just dont have the room to store his clothes, even with good old vacuum bags!

I try and sell in Ebay, but never seem to have much luck! I sell big items on Gumtree easy though. The more undesirable clothes i.e. unbranded go to the charity shops.

At the moment i cant put LO in his nursery, he is still in my room, as his nursery is just full of bags and bags full of outgrown baby clothes.

I dont have a Facebook account, but do any of you ladies that do sell, have any tips for success on Ebay?

We have kept everything so far. I'm pregnant again and will use the clothes for this baby if it's a girl. If it's a boy, we'll still keep the girl clothes since we plan on having 4-5 children.

I have the same problem as you, LOs room was full of bin bags, and we have no storage space. I tried to sell them at car boots, gumtree, fb and eBay with no luck, so in the end I gave them away on our local freecycle :-) I'm just glad for them to be gone and to someone who appreciates them!

We're keeping them as if I get rid of them it's likely we would have twin boys again. ;) We plan on officially trying again in 3 months anyway.

We hope to have another when the twins are still young also. Hopefully we'll have the same timeline as you.

My LO is not even 4 weeks old and I've already packed a bag full of clothes she has outgrown. There is gonna be bags full of clothes in the next few months that she will have outgrown. At first, I thought I would put them in the attic for if I have another baby but as most of it is girl stuff, knowing my luck I would have a boy. Plus styles might have changed by then. So just wondering if any of you sell your stuff and where?

I'm keeping everything for now because I'd like another baby. I tend to buy lots of neutral coloured stuff as I don't like to dress her in pink head to toe and also because I want to reuse things with the next baby regardless of gender. When I'm done having children, I'll donate clothes, hopefully to someone in a similar situation to the one I was in when I got pregnant, i.e. broke, working several lousy jobs that didn't pay much while finishing a degree, with no support.

You never know, you may well have another girl. And about styles - even if they did change, who cares? Clothes are expensive, kids puke on them whether they're new, old, the height of fashion, or knitted by a great-great aunt with arthritis.
