Do you think it matters?

Me and the OH have decided on a girls name that we both really like but are finding boys a bit more difficult.

We have only managed to think of one name that we both agree we quite like. The only problem is that it is my uncles name. It is not an uncle that I am particularly close to. It is not a blood relative but is married inot our family. I only see him occasionally, maybe 5 times a year, although I am quite close to the rest of the family on that side, for example, my nan, his wife's mum.

Do you think it matters that they would have the same name even if we are not technically naming him after my uncle?
