Just curious really. I have never used powder milk. I buy the 1ltr bottles that I just pour and heat. So blooming easy, especially when doing the night feed.

Yup we use ready to feed too. Im lucky that my baby will take it straight from the carton (we use Hipp so have to use individual cartons, no 1ltr bottles) so its sooooo easy and you get the extra reasurrance that its a sterile feed each time. The only bad thing is the cost. xxx

LO is on cow and gate. We use the cartons if we're out as there's not always easy access to boiling water for powder. But we generally just use powder (during the day). He has his bottles at room temp. We don't bother heating up the carton milk - figure the amount of time it takes to boil the kettle, put the water into a bowl/jug and wait for milk to heat a little we may aswell make a fresh bottle.xx

Iona won't take it at room temp now! She likes a really hot bottle so leave the bottle in boiled water for a couple of mins. But yeah the ready to pour is so convenient.

We use the powder. The cost is really crazy for RTF and it tends to upset my dd stomach. She spits it up much more than the RTF.

Currently ready to pour and she takes it at room temp

Powder. We use hipp and the ready to feed cartons don't have the "friendly bacteria" in, which is a big reason why we use hipp. She also will only have her milk very warm (I have to reheat it about twice in a feeding session which gets annoying), and I actually find it easy to use the powder.

When she was on cow and gate in the beginning though we used the cartons/bottles for night feeds.

I use hipp and the powder for the same reasons as coffeepuffin, I want that benefit from it. I do use the ready made when out the house though, just for ease.

I wish i could justify the cost and use ready made for my lil man but he drinks about 35oz of aptamil hungry milk a day so its powder for us! When he stay at grannys tho i always give up the ready made stuff so my mum doesnt have to make it up :)

We use powder, same reason as CoffeePuffin, as we use Hipp now. But will use RTP when we go on holiday on days out.
If we was on any other formula, think we would use ready to pour more often

We use powder. I use ready to pour cartons when out though.
Does it work out expensive using ready to pour? Our formula on costs around £8 a weekxx

Working on the assumption that LO had around 21oz of milk a day it would be around £20 a week. I use ready made but LO only has 1-2 bottles a day as I express/breastfeed the rest. When DS turned 6 months we switched him to Hipp organic ready made as it worked out at 90p a day which I thought was a good price!

I use powder, can't imagine the cost of using ready to feed the powder is a small fortune the way it is :p I do sometimes get the concentrate cartons if they are on sale though.

LO is taking roughly one 1ltr bottle a day an it's £3.29 a bottle for the Aptimal. SMA gold and cow and gate are cheaper though.

Powder, the cost of RTF is ridiculous!
We do use it for days out etc though.

With DS #1 we used the ready to feed because he spit up alot and the ready to feed seemed to be thicker and stayed down better.

With DS #2 we use ready to feed when he gets the occasional formula bottle (I EP the rest of the time).

we use ready to feed Emfamil Gentlease in 8 oz bottles, 6 in a pack. We always have a coupon and a $5 discount from the website so it works out to be bogo free. It's so easy and it helps so that I don't get frustrated trying to get a bottle ready with a crying baby.

When I was supplementing and Charlotte had severe reflux, we used ready to feed. When she turned 6 months and her gut matured a bit and we started using formula exclusively, we switched to powder. I can't imagine the cost of using ready to feed regularly!

We do powder, but have a bottle of the pre-made stuff in cases where they wake up screaming demanding food and we don't have time to mix the powder or to top up a bottle of breast milk.

We used ready to pour stuff when we moved to formula FT at 8 months, shortly after we then we moved to the powder until 1. If we were going out we always used the RTF cartons though.
