Hey- we have been TTC since July went to the doc in January due to yearly exam she said I could make an appointment after March to see why we haven't gotten pregnant yet. I am very regular 28-29 days. What kinds of things do they do first.. Like testing and such will my husband want/need to be at that appointment.

Thanks!

I am going through this myself right now... on month 19 TTC.

I seen my specialist and what she had me to was a blood test on CD23-25 to see if I did ovulate, then another blood test on CD3-5 to see my ovary function and she also sent my BF for a SA test.

I go back on June 24 to get all of the results

I'm not sure what they suggest, but I would def get dh tested. It is an easy test for the guy and half the time people are having problems it is actually male issues. It would be easiest to rule that out first!

I have an appointment on Wednesday next week to hopefully get some blood work done and figure out what's going on, I will update on what they do/tell me.

This may seem like a silly question... Do I go to my ob/gyn to get this process started?

Yea I think your gynecologist will send you where you need to go for SA.

When we first started investigations dh had a sperm analysis and I had a day 21 blood test, from those results they then decide on the next step.
