doctor belives fathers should not watch the births of their children

I ended up with a c-section, but to be honest I wished my OH wanted there when I laboured with my son. He was annoying and made it all about how tired he was.

my OH was there with me until i went onto the labour ward. He always said he doesnt want to be there bcos he wouldnt know what to do, whenever i had a contraction he kept laughing, not a awful laugh but bcos he didnt know what to do, he couldnt help me, hes not one to massage me and wipe my sweat, he rubbed my back and that was ok. but whenever he laughed i snapped then i felt awful for snapping, also i was in labour for 20 hours, we have dogs and no one else can watch them as they get giddy and if someone goes to feed them and let them out to toilet they would be too giddy to eat or pee, so he had to keep nipping home to see to them, he was there the second he got the text that Baby M was born..

(why do i always almost cry whenever i think or talk about labour/hospital experience LOL)
