Doctors appointment..help!!

Well..i discovered i was pregnant yesterday, but havn't been feeling well for 3 days, had the day off work today because i feel sick but have told my mum different excuses as i dont want her to think i am preg and now she has gone and booked a doctors appointment. It's only in a couple of hours but i really dont know what to do..shes expecting me to go and talk to them about my headaches and earaches. I'm not sure which doctor it will be as its an emergency appointment so it could be any of them.
I really dont know what to do. Should i use the appointment to say im poregnant? im quite shy so am really nervous!

I think u really need to tell your mum that your pregnant and then u can tell ur doc when u get there

i really dont want to tell her yet & i wont see her again untill late tonight anyway. Should i just go and tell whoever the doctor is that i have taken a test and im pregnant, what should i do. ?? Thanks for the advice xx

If youre feeling ill because youre pregnant then yeah,tell the doctor youre pregnant so he can set up your first appointment with the midwife.The doctor wont tell your mum anyway and you need to book your midwife appointment.
If you actually are unwell but NOT because youre pregnant then tell your doctor about that but ALSO book in an appointment with the midwife.

You should tell the doctor, definately. Its confidential so the doc is not allowed to tell anyone, but it maight help you to accept the situation. You should tell your Mum or someone you trust as soon as possible. It may seem scary, but you need the support. And you will get it. Congratulations, by the way. Good luck hun.

Thanks, my fiance lives with me and my parents, so he knows. My sister got pregnant at 17 and i can remember how mad my mum and dad were about it so im dreading telling them, eventhough im 19 and engaged..still going to be difficult & i dont want to tell them untill i know everythings ok. Your mum and dad will probably be dissapointed and shocked at first but they will come round eventually.Hope it all goes well at the doctors xx

glad doc appt went well ...i thought ur mum was coming to ur appt thats why i said tell her ...If u wanna wait til ur first scan then that sounds fine as long as the longer u leave it it doesnt get harder ! xxx

Nervous!?

I'm quaking in my boots!!

But I know its the right thing to do. I knkow they will be disappointed and probably wont want to talk to me but at the same time the sooner I tell them the sooner they will get over it and be supportive? Thats the plan anyway!

I just know i will feel so much better after telling them. It will be a huge weight off my mind and I can finally get on with enjoying my pregnancy
