I'm only 13 weeks, not showing at all besides bloating. But I've already started trying to sleep on my sides so as to get used to it. Welllll, I wake up like 100 times a night to switch sides. My hips start hurting and everything. Any ideas?!

I can relate! I'm 17w+5days now but sleeping has been really uncomfortable since the very beginning, well since about 10 weeks along. Laying on my side felt like my belly was hanging down and my back and hips hurt, laying on my stomach was way too much pressure- even though I wasn't really even showing yet... and on my back always just made me had to pee! Sleeping is really difficult as a preggo lady and I can only imagine what it's gonna be like when our bumps start to get big! haha... one suggestion I can give you is laying on your side with one pillow in between your legs, one tucked right under your tummy and one tucked just under your back behind you. It gives you a little more room to sink in so the pressure on your hips isn't so intense.. if you need to switch a lot at night it might be easier to just get a body pillow or if you search online there are some really awesome preggo body pillows made for comfy pregnant sleeping! Most of the prices are too high for me these days but I really want one!
good luck ! xo

Oh, my gosh! I am definitely going on a search for more pillows today. &if that doesn't work, I'll search online. But most likely end up with a body pillow. I don't care, I just need some sleep! Thanks so much!

Very normal! I'm constantly waking and tossing and turning in the night. Definitely try. Pillow between your legs, that really can help.

I've been trying but it always ends up with me cuddling it instead, lol. My hips hurt so bad, its hard to walk in the mornings. Idr the last night I got a full nights sleep. Lol.

you may be developing something known as SPD (AKA PGP), its not serious or anything like that, but it can mean walking etc gets very difficult during the later stages of pregnancy. I suffered withit from 25 weeks with my second, and from 18 weeks with this pregnancy. Mention it to your midwife if it gets really bad, although there isn't much you can do to solve it, you can do various exercises to help and things like that :)

I agree with curly, and feeling like my bellys hanging ! I have to sleep on my side because its uncomfortable sleeping on my back !
I waake up a million times to switch sides and my hips ache :(

Exactlyyy. It hurt so bad! I tried the pillows but my back hurt something awful, but my hips felt a little tiny bit better.

Ya, I have a body pillow and I wrap my legs around it. But my hips still hurt !
My bumps pretty good size, I can't imagine when I'm 6+ months.
Probably won't be able to sleep :( lol
