Does anyone know what the hell is going on? (TMI warning!)

I found out at the end of January my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks when I should have been 8. I went back and to for multiple scans and it was confirmed a MMC I decided to wait it out and have a natural miscarriage. Well I've done a lot of waiting and it's still not over and I'm still bleeding but two weeks ago I had a massive bleed and passed a huge piece of tissue the size of my hand which had a clear fluid filled ball attached to it which was slightly bigger than a 50p I thought this must have been the pregnancy sac but I've been back for another scan today and they can still see the sac inside me so I now have to go for surgery. What the hell was the thing that I passed then? Had lots of scans so can't have been two babies or they would have seen it. I'm really worried now about what the hell is going on with my body

Has anybody experienced similar? Could they have got it wrong on my most recent scan and the sac actually not still be there? Could it be anything else? I’m really worried about having surgery unnecessarily because I really don’t know what else I could have passed if it wasn’t the sac!

I didn’t want to read and run. Hope you are feeling better now and have had some clarity and closure with what is going on. I have also just had a mmc. I went for medical management and passed what I think was the sac and placenta Monday/Tuesday of last week. I am still bleeding quite heavily now. I have a follow up scan on Tuesday coming to see if all is gone. I also passed clots the size of my hand. I know this is such a horrible time and it is made worse by not knowing what is going on with your body. I was messed about a lot by my hospital so do understand how you are feeling.

Hello there, I’m sorry to hear What you’re going through. I recently miscarried three weeks ago. The weekend after confirming it was a miscarriage I passed about a half dollar size or a bit larger of tissue and turned out it was a blood clot. That may be what was passed. I hope all is well when you see your doctor

I’ve never had a miscarriage, but Im on what was thought my period and have no reason to why I would be pregnant cause I wear the patch regularly, the only thing we don’t use condoms and my partner usually gets off in me. I’ve not taken any pregnancy tests, but I used the bathroom this morning and this is what came out. Not a usual clot with period and I’ve been cramping very bad last night and this morning. !!!Help and graphic pic warning!!!

Edit: Also after I had sit down on the toilet there was a huge something that came out of me. And I can’t see anything by I had already used the bathroom so it’s very unclear.

That looks like a miscarriage. Even with birth conteol you can still get pregnant
