Been trying for 12 cycles now after my miscarriage (that pregnancy, it only took me a couple of months, fell pregnant on my 3rd cycle). So went to doctors who referred me for blood test to make sure I was ovulating. Results came back all clear, no infection, no vitamin deficiencies, no infections, no hormone problems and I'm ovulating. My husband's sperm results weren't as good as they could've been. He had a count of 18 million with 30% mobility. My doctor said that this shouldn't cause a problem with achieving pregnancy, it might just take a bit longer. So she's referred me to a fertility specialist and this appointment is Monday after next. Does anyone have any idea what will be involved at this appointment? Will it just be an initial chat before going on for tests or will they want to do an internal or whatever they do when you can't fall pregnant? My appointment is a 20 minute slot. I got a letter through about it but it just gave my appointment time and that was it basically. Just wondering what might be involved?
