Does bf ever become completely pain free?

It definitely gets pain free! I actually can't remember it hurting! I remember using hydro gel things and keeping them in the fridge, so I must have had some pain. I actually think it wad when we quit using a nipple shields. Anyway it is so long gone!

..that is, until you get pregnant again...then it is a different ball game!

First few weeks were hell but since then we've been fine. Get some strong letdowns every now and again but nowhere near like early on.

I had no pain past 14 days with my son and 9 days with my daughter.

Just an update...day 13 and now pretty minimal pain. Today is the first time I can also wear a top without it irritating my nipples 😊

Yes it does. I've had pain at first all 3 times but after the initial hurdle it's been pain free.
