does gaviscon make ur lo constipated??

sylvie's poos were really hard a couple of days ago then she had a massive messy one yest and today was a small hard one again. she seems fine, just wondered if this is 'the norm'?

Yes it made my LO very constipated. I dont think kacey should of ever been put on it. But for her the constipation was far worse than the reflux so the doctor advised we took her off it. Do you use 1 or 2 sachets. i heard that its not as bad with just 1 sachet

we only use 1 sachet. we've just had some movement was only a little one though. i think i will give it to her in everyother feed. see if that helps.

I have the same problem, and actually i'm thinking to get him off the gaviscon and try formula AR. At the end i prefer to deal with sicky baby than constipated...

We had exactly the same issue so took her off it. That was with only 1 sachet (and not in every feed!)
