Hello :flower:

Does anyone know how big the implantation dip usually is? I realise it will vary a lot, but I was wondering whether it needs to drop below the coverline to be worth noting for example.

I'll currently day 6dpo according to FF and this is my 1st cycle TTC after losing our 2nd child at 20 weeks. Even though I promised myself I wouldn't get too anxious this cycle, of course I have been and have been symptom spotting and over examining everything!!! Temp dipped a bit yesterday and again today so it may be AF on her way early and I'm just having a rubbish cycle. I did also have some beige/little brown coloured discharge on my panty liner today so I'm hopeful, but could well be coincidence.

Thanks xxx

My temp dipped way below coverline today and I am only 5dpo. I have no idea what or why. Small bit of creamy cm this eve and quite crampy today.

Fx for you its implantation xxxx

It doesn't need to drop below the cover line. If u look at my chart in my signature, ull see a dip on 10dpo. That COULD have been a possible "implantation dip" but these dips happen alot during the LP on both pregnant and non pregnant charts and unfortunately, I wasn't pregnant last cycle =/ but I know it'll happen soon. On to lucky cycle #8! =) anyways, Ive seen alot of pregnant charts with dips on 5-7dpo though. I wish u alot of luck and hope u get ur bfp! Oh and if this was an implantation dip, u can test at 8-9dpo. Usually after a real implantation dip, it only takes two days to get a pos. GL! BABY DUST! Update plz! Ill be stalking!

PS. If u dont get a pos on 8-9dpo, DONT get discouraged..sometimes it can take even longer but on average, almost every chart ive seen w a real dip, gets a pos within 2days. GL again!!

Oh and hopefully along w this possible implantation dip, u may also be experiencing implantation bleeding. Fx's for you! And I'm very sorry for ir loss. Its very heartbreaking and I'm always here to talk..

ladies thank you for your replies!

SkinnyMrs - hope your dip was implantation! FXed for you :)
Aidensmommy1 - thanks for the info and advice :) and so so sorry about your chemical . It's just awful. GL for this cycle!!

Well my temp increased quite dramatically this morning, which I think is hopeful and I haven't had anymore of the light brown cm. Today I looked back at my old charts when we were TTC#1 and I noticed I always had a dip BUT after the rise it always dropped off again immediately e.g. dip at 7dpo, rise at 8dpo, fall 9,10,11 dpo etc. The cycle I got my BFP it dropped a tad but levelled off. So I guess I'll wait and see what tomorrow brings and hope for the best! Aidensmommy 1 - thanks for the tip about maybe getting a positive 2 days after the dip. I will have to check my supply of tests :winkwink: I think I may end of going through quite a lot this cycle.

Very nervous about being pregnant again after losing our little one, but if you want to have a rainbow you have to endure the rain. I will have to try and take each day as it comes :)

I'll keep you updated anyway xxx

I didn't get a dip at all, I just got a small jump at 8dpo with my son, so a jump today is a positive sign, I tested positive at 10dpo, I'm also so sorry for your loss

Hello,

Well I thought I'd give you an update I'm now CD35 and 11dpo according to FF. I've been having a lot of symptoms over the last few days sore (.)(.), pelvic pains/cramps, backache, nausea, funny taste in my mouth etc...

My temps have been a bit erratic so I decided to wait until the weekend if AF hadn't showed up, but this morning I broke! Couldn't stand it any longer and tested. Got our :bfp:!!!! On :cloud9: and can't quite believe it. I really hope and pray this little one burrows in well and the pregnancy goes well. It's early days I know ... one day at a time ...

xxxx

I had a huge temp jump today at 5dpo, but I think it's too early to count, so I'm still impatiently waiting :haha: Thanks for asking :flower:

You never know!! I'll keep my fingers tightly crossed for you :flower: The waiting is torture isn't it?

Showering you with :dust:

xxx
