I'd say yes and no. As they get older and can communicate they are easier for a while but then tantrums started for us and potty training has been really tough plus there's no rest once naps stop. Then if you decide to have another one you've got both to deal with! I would say it was easiest between 1 and 2 for us. My ds was an angel and literally turned into a devil the week after his second birthday! Lol!
