Does lanolin go out of date??

as title...i bought some from upsydaisy on ebay and its come and it says expiry 02-10 so realistically its OOD...anyone know if it;ll be ok or should i send it back ?

well Id take it to mean it may not be as effective, I dont know if it actually goes "out of date" but youve bought it so Id be asking for a refund.
