My drs never mentioned it, but after reading someone else post and seeing a picture, Im so afraid this is what is on my US picture!? You see the dark chunk above the baby? What else could that be if they never mentioned it to me!? Im not bleeding, but I am on progesterone. ugh im very freaked out and concerned now.

I am an US tech and yes that looks like a subchorionic hematoma. If you are not bleeding I wouldn't be concerned.

Subchorionic hematomas usually form after implantation. Yours is VERY small. Almost all early pregnancies I see have a very little one, and we usually do not comment on them because all it does is stress the expectant mother out. A bleed this small should NOT cause anything sinister. It should be on the mend now and should be gone in the next few weeks. It also looks like it is away from your placenta (which is really good as well).

Why hadn't my dr Said anything? Both of my drs never said a word. I hope it's nothing to worry about but thanks for the in put.

I have a sch without bleeding. Mine is in the exact same location but yours is tiny compared to mine! Im sure the doc didn't mention yours since it poses no risk. Even with my huge one they said my risk of miscarrying at this point is very low.

I had another apt today and Dr still said nothing. She said all looks perfect! hmph. I guess its not a big deal if she still hasnt said anything.
