Yep, i was right! Mentioned the name Emerson to my mom tonight & she said... "No!!! I like pretty names for girls!"

I think of Emerson as a boys name. Probably because I went to school with a boy named Emerson. To me a girls variation would be Emerence. It's unique, but still pretty. Her nickname would be something like Emi which is pretty cute.
