does this period sound normal to you? :s

I only stopped breastfeeding in May so I expected my periods to be a little scatty but was wondering if you thought this was normal?..

I seemed to have my regular period back in May and June, but started another period at the begining of July which hasnt really stopped. It initially lasted a week, but only stopped.for.a few days. (TMI ahead) it has been ranging.from normal red period blood to dark brown.. I assumed the dark drown was signalling the end but im bleeding red.blood today.
Its quite light but ive not really stopped bleeding all month :s having cramps and back pain too.

Is it just my hormones settling.do you think?
I am on the implant if that makes a difference. Thanks

I forgot to add, Ive also become reallly tired in the past week.. Needing to nap everyday and getting exhausted when I try and complete relatively unchallenging tasks. Could this be related?

I can't tell you for sure that this is the same but it could be..

When I had the implant I bled continuously, like you it was heavy then light, red then brown, constantly cramping, I was spotty, tired, moody.. It sucked! I didn't see the point in having something there so I could have sex when it was actually making me unable to have sex so I had it taken out. This was about 4-5 years ago.

Think it's worth speaking to your doctor about, maybe you need to consider different methods of contraception?

hi this is my 3rd period from lo was born only this time i started my pill and my period isnt going away i have had it now for 15 days it isnt heavy but like yourself red then brown i am also exhausted by 6 oclock im done in think it might be my iron levels as i was low with both pregnancies
