Doppler scan showing resistance

Long story short, I've been having weekly appointments since 16 weeks due to my blood pressure. Last Monday I mentioned that the baby's movements have decreased. Since the same happened with my youngest and it ended up being due to low fluids, my doc hooked me up for a stress test and had a biophysical done before leaving. The biophysical was okay (good fluids, baby finally moved after some coaxing). Yesterday I received notes from last weeks scan. It said there was resistance in the blood flow but ended up going to normal. Yesterday's scan I believe showed no resistance (the notes she wrote said everything looked fine). So I'm curious if resistance can go back and forth between normal and abnormal? For right now my doc isn't worried about it, but he's also being extremely relaxed about the fact that I'm showing "early signs of toxemia". I'll have a higher quality scan tomorrow morning with the specialist doctor and I know they'll be ontop of things.
Looking for anyone else that might've experienced the resistance going between normal and abnormal or anything similar.

All the best honey.. at my 20week scan , iahd high resistance in both left and right uterine arteries.. i was put on baby aspirin..and at 28 weeks, my doppler was normal..

However, i had a growth scan again at 32 weeks..which showed high resistance in umblical artery.. apparently.. this leads to IUGR.. my baby is measuring on the smaller side.. have a scan again at 34 weeks to check the growth and all..but doc says if resistance is in umblical artery, it doesnt get better.. jst hoping..it doesnt get worse..

It did say umbilical artery :( it didn't mention anything about uterine artery, I'm not sure she checked that since it was just a quick check. I have an appointment in an hour with a specialist where they will check baby's growth and do more detailed scan (first growth check since 21w).

I hope you find out more with your specialist. How did it go?
I was just looking at this thread as I had a uterine artery doppler scan today (because DS1 was born small) and the found abnormal resistance on the left hand artery, the right hand was borderline. They are scanning me again at 28 weeks and then 32 but for now they don't want to do anything! Hope you got some answers today x

today's appointment went okay :) the doctor said at a glance, things are looking good, but he's still got to sit down and look over everything before writing up the report. little guy is estimating 3lb 12oz, which i've gathered is pretty average for this gestation. most of the time during the scan i was answering questions with the resident doctor about my past pregnancies, so i didn't get to watch the scan the entire time. after the first of the year i will be getting weekly scans :thumbup:

this is what the notes said from the scan on the 8th;
Impression
The patient is here for BPP. The AFI is 11.5. The total score
is 8/8. Umbilical artery doppler was elevated, but eventually
dropped to normal range.
