So ladies my Doppler should be here today any advice on using it I have got a angel one I am 10 + 5 and don't worry ladies I won't freak out if I can't find heartbeat lol xx any advice would be great xxx:flower:

Just got mine today too (9w+1d)
Had to try it immediately.
Needed quite some searching, but after a while I found it.

I had ceasarians (3x) in the past, and found little one's hb right at that place. First I didn't, so tried higher, there I found the whooshing, but no hb. After a while went back to the line of the ceasarian and found the hb.

When you find a hb of 120, it 's not that. It should be round 140 or higher.

Don't give up too soon.

There are a few youtube videos that can help.

Which doppler do you have?

Good luck! And if you don't find it, don't panic

Just remember baby is still very low down at this point, tucked behind the pubic bone. You might need to press quite firmly with the doppler and angle it downwards, behind the bone to find it. It's also possible that you won't hear baby yet, I didn't find my second baby's HB until 12 weeks.

So I hope you do find it but please don't worry if you don't :) good luck!! It's a beautiful sound!

Just aim really low near your public bone as the uterus hasn't risen up out of the pelvis yet at 10 weeks x

Think I found baby heartbeat then it went lol going to try again tonight after work when I can take my time and lay in bed x

I found mine at 9w1d but havent found it since. im now 9w5d, still early I know, but would love to hear it again.

I have found baby at 8+4, baby was directly in the center, just above the pubic hair line. Good luck with finding it! :hugs:

Even now at 18w, baby is VERY low down. Keep looking and you'll find it

Aww Hun I am going to try again tonight try not to panic lots of room for bubba to move around x

Just be careful which sound you´re listening too ;)
The placenta makes a "whooshing" sound, while the baby´s heartbeat is more like a galloping horse ;)

I don´t think you can tell the the difference this early though.

Oh, I miss listening to LO´s heartbeat through a Doppler :) Though now can just lay my head on his chest (for a second at least ;) )
