Dostinex....

Hey all, just coming back here a fter a bit of a break. I have had an appt with an Endocrine doctor as i had a bad time with that pesky prolactin!

The doestinex finally normalised it, i got great results from my day 21 blood tests my prolactin was 680 when they cheked it in July, its now at 55

My progesterone was 77!!! I also had high estrogen, i didnt get an exact number but the lady said it was because of where i was in my cycle

This is probably my first "normal" cycle in ages, i was on clomid for 3 cycles but it was useless while my prolcatin was that high!

I also had an ultrasound last Weds (CD 21) which showed a very thick endometrial lining and i had 1 dominant follicle on the right. I know i defo ovulated on CD 14 and my progesterone blood test confirmed that

Just wondering if anyone else is on Dostinex/Cabergoline? If so, are you having much luck with it or have you ever conceived with it? Many thanks


PS: I'm 11 dpo today, sick of testing all BFN Having a hard time accepting i may not be pregnant after having such good news!

I hope you and baby are well, congrats!!
I see that after you too the meds for prolactin level you conceived. how long was you on the medication before it happened? and did you need to take any ovulation meds too accompany the success rate?
