Doughnuts

Hello, I am new to making donuts and I have doughnut pan that goes into the oven. I was trying to find some good recipes to try as I am trying to expand my knowledge on this. Also, can donuts be made from cake batter? I know this belongs in the cooking section but people rarely post there
