Dr appointment for long cycles

I have a doctor appointment on Monday with my obgyn. My cycles are 49 days apart. I was wondering what the options are for my doctor to do to make my cycles shorter the nurse just mentioned clomid & birth control but I was wondering if there was anything else?

I tried to get an app for my long cycles but doc told me over the phone that there was nothing he could do for 12 months because iv had blood tests and I definitely do ovulate so maybe ask for bloods if you haven't already sorry I couldn be much help x

I know for sure he is going to put me on some sort of medicine.. he said maybe clomid.

I dont know much about clomid but I do know a lot of the ladies on here are using it try making a new thread asking about clomid in the title im sure many will respond also try posting in the assisted conception part as well
