Hi ladies,

I'm starting DR on 6th January which would be CD21 for me (long protocol) but I think I've ovulated way early. Should I tell the ACU about this or does it not matter. I think I ovulated on CD12 ish and I have a 11-14 LP. Maybe I'm thinking too much about this and it's nothing to worry about. Can someone maybe help me out a bit please?

I would definitely check in with them. I know that me ovulating late was a problem and we had to adjust my start date.

I bet as simple as a blood test they could tell you if they need to move your start date sooner. xo let us know.

:hugs:

i would def tell them, they're there to help, after my appt today the nurse said if i had any questions at all just to give them a ring.

its not long now until you start, how are you feeling?

xx

Hi Mrs S, thanks. I phoned and left a message. They'll never call me back. They have never done so yet when I leave a message and I've done that at least 6 times previously. Stupid blinkin clinic. I'll call tomorrow.

I'm feeling hopeful but I'm also feeling scared and as if it's not really happening to me. But I so, so want this to work... just hope the start isn't mucked up.

:hugs:

hi wallie do you start when af arrives, my af has been a bit unpredictable lately so i have been worried but my clinic says if it arrives early they will just get me in straightaway, do you have a 24 hour number where you can get hold of someone if you need to throughout your ivf, it might be worth pulling them up on the fact they never get back to you next time you see someone x

I phoned this morning and they said it doesn't matter thay AF might be here when I start sniffing on CD21, so Raf-wife, it's CD21 when I start not when AF arrives although it might be like that.

Last two cycles I think I've ovulated early, wonder why that is? Maybe my clock "is" ticking loud and clear now...

When I next go to the hospital and speak to someone, I'll point out that I've never ever been called back when I've left a message for IUI or IVF or whatever reason. I'm just glad it's never been anything serious but how unprofessional and rude is that...

im glad you have it sorted wallie :hugs:
you would think the clinics would know not to put people under more stress x

Glad all sorted hun! some clinics can start down regging on day 1, although this has been proven to take much much longer (by cd 21 98% of ladies are downregged).

glad your all sorted, and yeah you should def have a word with them about them not phoning you back, esp since you are paying now too!!

good luck
xx
