Has anyone else ever had a dream that they miscarried? I didlast night. It happened in the bathtub very early on. im only 4 weeks and a day or two now. i had a blighted ovum back in november but i didnt find out till my 9 week appt. so naturally im terrified im going to miscarry again now. so terrified apparently im having dreams. not cool. now im even more worried that its a warning it is going to happen and i need to prepare somehow.

As far as i am aware, i have always been told anyway, but dreams of this nature are supposed to be your subconscious telling you you are worried about something, whether you are doing it knowingly or not. Therefore, subconsciously you are worrying about miscarrying before you fall asleep.

Try not to worry too much. I don't think there are many of us out there that have had babies and not miscarried somewhere down the line. Try to stay stress free and rest as much as possible until 12 weeks, eat well, and try sleep well. Im sure all will be fine hun :)

Good luck xxx

I had a dream about a miscarriage, or what I thought was the beginning of one, also. I dreamt it a couple nights ago. I was in the shower and I looked down and there were bright red pools of blood. It really gave me an uneasy feeling after I woke up. I am sure (partially hoping also) that it is just me worrying that I will miscarry. I have had 4 miscarriages and last year I had a blighted ovum which I didn't know until I was 8 weeks. Fx'd that ours are sticky beans :hugs:

I have had a dream where I miscarried when I first found out. Way not cool. But I just think it means that its something you have been worrying about. Good luck!

Yep, I've been having m/c dreams. I get them about once or twice a week. They're terrible and wake me up in a panic but everything is still ok.
I think it's natural to dream about it especially if you've gone through one before.

I had one at around 5-6w. It was awful, I actually woke up sobbing and couldn't stop, the most realistic dream I've ever had! I actually had a bleed between 7w6d and 8w2d and thought it was coming true but everything was ok. Just had my 20w scan last week and baby's completely healthy :happydance:

I had one a few weeks ago whn I was around 8 weeks, it was really scary was bleeding loads in my dream and was so worried the next day I'm now 11 weeks everything seems ok also had a mc in October so I thnk the dream stems from that. I was really freaked out by it as it was really vivid but I looked online and it said it is just your worries coming out in your dreams x

Last April my husband and I had found out I was pregnant and about 4 or 5 weeks in I miscarried.. And it was absolutely heartbreaking, there was a lot of hostility, resentment and just all out grief and sense of loss that loomed for a long time after, but I tried very hard to repress it and not let my emotions surface.. Last night I had a similar dream to yours ( I am about 8 weeks pregnant again) only in my dream I was in the bathroom but wasnt in the bath..

Basically as moms and as people who have already gone through one loss of a child, it is very natural for us to carry anxiety and be a little bit petrified that history might repeat itself, this is the way the dream manifests itself. It also can mean that you didn't allow yourself to grieve properly or as long as you needed to Over the loss of your last baby (which is what it is in my case)

The point is, don't worry too much! (I know ya right! Lol people tell me that and I go. "easy for you to say!") but the more you stress about it the harder it is on you and baby, make sure you're staying healthy, drink lots of fluids, take your vitamins and absolutely any downtime you have REST even watch a good movie, but try and lay on your left side so baby gets all the nutrients you can give them. It will all be alright :) you're almost done your first trimester! :)
