Just curious if anyone does this and if it works?

I'm thinking of trying with my lo as he still wakes quite early in the night. Sometimes he will take a dummy and sleep longer and sometimes will want a feed.

Any advice/tips also welcome :)

Stalking out of curiosity. I'm hoping to breastfeed so this is one thread I won't have to start! X

Hey ladies

My DD is only 3 weeks old and we do a dream feed every night - I love it, works so well.

She goes straight after her 7pm feed and we give her a dream feed at 11pm. We give her expressed BM in a bottle - the best part about this is hubby gets to give her the bottle.

After a dream feed she will usually sleep 6 or 6.5hrs =)

The reason we give a bottle is I couldn't quite get her to the breast without waking her, whereas with the bottle for some reason she doesnt wake up.

I never managed it. She was either awake or asleep, never in between!

I have done it a few times and he didn't wake. It just means I get a longer chunk of sleep before he wakes
