due date is august 10th and looking for a buddy!

Hi everyone!
So my name is Jess and I'm currently 13w2d pregnant. I'm looking for a buddy that's close to that as possible. I'm 20 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I'm extremely excited as well as nervous since im doing this without my family being there to help. I live on the west coast and they live back on the east :\ so I'm just looking for a friend who I can talk to and share my experiences with! I'll try and get on here as much as possible but I respond quicker to emails since it gets sent straight to my phone.
Oh and a little about me! As I said I'm 20, first timer and I live in Oregon. I just recently moved here about a year and a half ago, and I live with my wonderful fiance. I don't have that many friends out here, ones that aren't my fiances friends anyway, so its hard to handle sometimes. It's funny how hard it is to find friends when you're not in school!

Hi Adrian! That's awesome that we have the same due date! And from the south huh? I've always wanted to live in the south haha. I just don't know if I could handle the heat!
And bump buddies it is! So big question, do you want a boy or girl?

yes louisiana gets pretty hot!! so its going to be a long at summer for me. lol. It doesnt matter to me. just a healthy baby. My fiance wants a boy of course. lol. the last appointment i had the babys heart rate was 161 and the doctor told me that the old wives tale says a girl. so we shall find out in just a matter of weeks! do you want a boy or a girl?

Hi! I tried putting my email but I guess I have to wait til i make 10 posts haha. And I'm hoping for a boy, but mainly just a happy healthy baby. And yeah, my fiance is hoping for a boy as well. The baby's bpm was 160 at my 12 week appt. And its funny cause I heard a slower heartbeat means boy!

aww. im guessing my doctor thinks that the 160 range is fast because he is predicting a girl for me. I had started leaking clear fluids lastnight (sorry tmi) and was worried that it might be the amiotic fluid. So im fixing to call my doctor and see what he wants me to do.

So I am just getting back from the doctor. baby is measuring a week ahead of time 14 weeks 4 days and weighing 3oz's and it let us see the sex. It must be like its daddy proud to show off what it has. Im on team blue!! going to prenatal pics in about 2 weeks so our families can see him as well!!

Oh my goodness, congrats!! You must be excited to know what you're having! And thankfully the baby is okay! I've been having bad migraines every day for about a week and a half now. I'm going to call my doctor today as well. But that's awesome that you're farther along than expected! I can't wait to get an ultrasound, I don't get another one til 20 weeks and the first time I had one was at 5 weeks cause I thought I was farther along than I really was. I just wanna see my baby! Haha.

And hopefully I'll be having a boy too since the bpm of ly baby is the same as yours! Fingers crossed haha

Girl I know. I was so thankful that the baby was perfectly safe. I wasnt suppse to get another ultrasound until my 20th week. but thats when we thought something was wrong. In the beginning i always got headaches! oh was they was horrible. I couldnt even see to drive. They said that my due date hasnt changed yet. The baby is just growing fast and big. Maybe you will have a boy! My mom has done picked out a stroller and a swing to use at her house. Im so ready to start my shopping. Was you really sick in the beginning?

Oh and what did your doctor say about your migraines?

The doctor is having me come in tomorrow, to find something to fix it. And maybe check on the baby, hopefully. And yes, I was soooo sick from 6 weeks on the dot to 11 1/2 weeks. But yeah, I can't wait to go out shopping too! I'm having a hard time waiting haha. It's hard! But hey, now you can at least pick out blue things!

Let me know what the doctor says if you dont mind. I never was really sick this pregnancy has been extrememly easy. I've been blessed! Gilrl mom has already bought a stroller and swing lol. You will be able to find out soon. Let me know as soon as you find out and ill send you a gift for the baby. I dont know if they have a CVS up there, but they have a gender test there and walmert. It has worked for several women that i know. It might give you a early hint. lol Goodluck at the Doctors office. You will atleast get to hear the little ones heartbeat

The doctor said I have to go see a neurologist since I have a past with migraines :\ so they're just giving me vicodin for them in the mean time. And I go to find out the sex on the 24th at 1:30! I'm so excited. I can't wait to see the peanut. And upload pictures of the ultrasound sometime! I'd love to see your baby. Oh and you don't have to get the baby a present! That's far too nice. But once I get a little extra money I'll make sure to send your baby boy something you must be really excited. And you're so lucky! My pregnancy has been hell so far hahah.
