Dumb question...

I think I am going to ovulate soon, but I just got a letter in the post to go for a CT scan of my sinuses at the end of the week.

If by some sheer miracle, we were to conceive naturally this cycle, would the CT scan be a bad idea?

I know it sounds paranoid, but I would rather err on the side of caution, esp for a non-essential scan.

personally i am avoiding any x rays ...... i would look it up online maybe?

Shouldnt hurt anything since the only part that will be exposed to the scan would be your head. Also, they should be able to put a protective sheet over your abdomin if necessary to reduce exposure. I had a scan of my sinuses about a year or so ago and didnt go any farther into the cylinder machine thingy than my shoulders.
