Dilema!!

My local Boots everytime i go in ONLY has girl coloured 6 month + MAM dummies and we only have 2 at the moment and i like to always have 4 dummies so that i know we always have some sterile. We moved upto the 6 month ones because the teats are bigger and he prefers them, he was dropping the other ones all the time.

Whats the closest brand to MAM that i can get for him so that I can buy him some that aren't pink?! :baby::dohh:

Do they not have any in a Tesco/Adsa/mothercare/Toys r us near you?

Avent are pretty close but they don't have the texture on the nipple part...

Toys r us is 5 mins away and they had nothing! Tesco/adsa dont allow you a far as i can see to order dummies with your food shopping as we dont drive to get there and mothercare is also out of town. Sometimes i really hate not driving!! lol! I dont get why they don't do unisex colours, if they do then they must be popular as everytime i go in anywhere they only have bloomin pink or purple! :dohh:

Will have a look at avent ones tmrw and see what they are like! hes very fussy over his dummies :baby:

what about ordering online? I know you have to be careful because some will show a boy color but in the fine print it says that any color can change. But some let you choose 'boy colors' or even specific prints! Thats how I ended up getting mine.

Hi there,
Try ebay thats where i get mine from

Ebay hun!!

TBH you can try what you like, and there are some dummies that look similar, but my LO never liked anything other than the MAMs; even if it looked the same, it obviously didn't feel the same. I think the likes the silk teat they have on the MAMs

We live 2000 miles away from the UK (but we are still British) and we don't really have anyone that stocks MAMs here. We have one or two, but like you they have hardly any in stock. I tend to buy them online:

https://mamonlineshop.com/

I've ordered with them in the past and they delivered really fast (about 3 weeks to get here, and shipping normally takes 4 or 5 weeks here from the UK). I would thoroughly recommend them.

amazon are fantastic for mam dummies

Sainsburys allow you to order dummies online with grocery shopping, I've ordered MAM ones with my shopping before. However can't remember if you could stipulate colour - I remember ordering a Tommee tippee breastfeeding blanket thingy and it showed it in pink or blue but the option wasn't available to select. Blue turned up but I didn't mind, she also has some blue dummies (intentionally) but then I appreciate most people don't like pink for boys.

I got some MAM dummy's from eBay in blue for my LO, it's the only ones he will take.

I ordered them two days ago and received them this aft.

Asda do let you get them with your shopping online, go into the baby bit and select accessories and they have them all there :)

i love mam because their binkies are so cute...pirate ones!!

ALas, my baby is a Nuk boy =/

Did you get any? There's always loads of boy ones by me, I'm in Tewkesbury, so not too far and I've seen some in Cheltenham too.

Morrisson's own brand! The teat is almost the same in the bulb shape. Avent are flatter than Mam and TT are different shape.

Avent are really close to the MAM dummies alfie will only have MAM and Avent. Also have you tried ordering direct off of the MAM website weve done it a few times to stock up when boots havent had the right sizes in that an ebay
