Dummy / Paci users

I use the Avent dummies.

We have half a dozen of them that I've had from day 1 but I wondered, how many of you have changed to the next size?

These ones are 0-3 months ones and I know they do a 0-6 but that seems pointless as she's almost 6 months now.

Is there a bigger size than that? And do I need to change?

I tried to change Rosie to the next size, but she wasn't having any of it. We use the Tommie Tippee Close to Nature, old school styles, i love them,

They have now stopped making them, can't find them anywhere, so i dont know weather it was the difference in teat size i.e. ages, or weather it was because it was a different style!!

Sorry not much help either!!! LOL

i think as long as the teat is undamaged, and she can't swallow them as she gets bigger honey i stay stick with them. we are constanstly changing as we lose them, or i leave them in the milton solution to long x

I'm sure they had some CTN ones on offer in Tescos today! I wonder if thats because they are discontinued. If you want me to see if they are the same ones and get you some let me know.

Carly - they arent damaged at all. She's not massively addicted to them but they do help keep her happy at certain times. I think that's what I'll do ta hun x

you're welcome thats what we do, we have lots just floating around, at home and at mums, so tend to change when they're damaged x

Are they they ones that dont have a 'handle' on them - you can sort of see into the LO's mouth when they have them in IYKWIM?

Yeah thats the one's!! They are so adorable!! Kinda made Rosie look like a blow up dolly when she was little!!

We have the Avent 0-3 ones too....i thought u would have to change them like teats and so i bought the 0-6 ones and the teats are massive.....she will suck it and is getting used to the bigger ones but i think she prefers the other ones....

Bethy uses Avent too! She still prefers 0-3 but we have a few 0-6 ones that she will take. hope the little hebester is ok.

I was told its best to change babies dummies every 3 months for bacterial reasons ! I only changed maxs from 0-3 months to 6-18+ and have not bought any news ones ..still trying to wean him off but wont force it on him

We use Avent and switched to 6-18 months at 6 months

I changed, and kept some old ones, he hasnt noticed the difference..
