I just expressed my concerns to my Dr. about not having any symptoms and he decided to go ahead and set me up for an early scan on Wed. the 17th. I'm glad he is so understandable otherwise I would've had to wait until I was 12 weeks. So the countdown begins........ I'm trying VERY hard to stay positive but to be honest I'm scared to death, it seems like its so far away, any ideas on what to do to occupy my time until then?

I have an early scan on the 17th too! we can be scan buddies! lolcry. :hugs:

Hi hun I find if I get a hobby it helps pass the time quicker its just finding a hobby you like :D x

I have taught myself to Knit :D Lots of blankets and baby stuff

yeah, you could take up quilting or crochet and make a lovely blanket for your bubs :cloud9:

I think I'm going to take up something this weekend....... I'll let you know what I find. ;)

im_mi thats exciting..... I see you're a little farther along than I am. This is going to be interesting, I hope we both get to see a heartbeat. I told myself if I see a heartbeat that will help me get through the next 4 weeks until I see the Doc again........

Ok so I had my scan yesterday and everything looked good, it was hard to see much but we did see the heartbeat. He did an abdominal scan, I was expecting a transvaginal since I'm so early on. I didn't have a full bladder or anything and we could still see the lil one. He wants me back on 3/10 to do another one, he said we will be able to see alot more by then. So there's my next goal....... making it to 3/10. Another thing, I was all worried about not having any morning sickness..Pfft! I feel TERRIBLE, wish I had never said anything about it as it has come back to bite me in the hiney!

YAY! im so glad all is well :) we didnt get to see much at ours either, but seeing that heartbeat is such a relief! So glad you are feeling reassured and i am sorry that ms has caught you, its really no fun at all :hugs:
